Demo Multimeter / Remote Display Type DM45 is by the versatile measuring possibilities particularly suitable as measuring instrument in education and in the laboratory. The device is microprocessor controlled and supplied with RS232 interface cable for PC and Windows program.

The instrument can be used as a stand-alone instrument or connected to a PC or other measuring instrument. With the PC connected, all functions can be controlled and recorded. When connected to e.g. an electronic balance, the instrument acts as a remote display. For optimum performance and trouble-free connection, the interface is galvanically separated from any other parts of the instrument.
For the teacher’s convenience a display (4 digit 21 mm LED) is placed at the rear panel of the instrument.
Measuring modes:
Multimeter: Voltage ac and dc, current ac and dc, resistance in Ohm and kOhm.
Temperature meter: Thermocouple NiCr-Ni (type K) input for measurements in a wide range from -40°C to +1200°C with display of temperature in °C or °K.
pH meter: BNC-input for pH-combination electrode in the range 0.00 to 14.00 pH. Temperature compensation is automatic (from temperature-meter input or from ambient temperature) or can be set manually from 0 to 50 °C. Both the buffer and the sensitivity (Nernst equation) is adjustable from the front-panel or through the PC interface.
